Streampack Setup Guide

Before any installation, it’s essential to unzip the Streampack files. To unzip a file quickly:

Animated Media (Scenes, Overlays, ...)

Add animated media like scenes or overlays to enhance your OBS setup.

  • Open OBS Studio and select your scene.
  • Click the "+" in the "Sources" panel.
  • Choose "Media Source" for animated .webm files.
  • Browse to the unzipped Streampack folder and select your file.
  • Adjust position, size, and properties as needed.
  • For pre-configured scenes, go to File > Import and select the scene collection.

Ensure all file paths are correct to avoid missing media.

Static Images (Overlays, Streamcams, Backgrounds)

Use static .png images for overlays, streamcams (e.g., webcam frames), or backgrounds in OBS.

  • In OBS Studio, select your scene.
  • Click the "+" in the "Sources" panel.
  • Select "Image" as the source type.
  • Browse to the unzipped Streampack folder and choose a .png file.
  • Position and resize the image to fit your layout.
  • Layer it over other sources if it’s an overlay or streamcam frame.

Check layering to ensure the image displays correctly.

Stinger Transition

Create smooth transitions between scenes in OBS.

  • Go to the "Scene Transitions" dock (enable via View > Docks).
  • Click "+" to add a new transition.
  • Select "Stinger" for video-based transitions.
  • Browse to the .webm transition file in the unzipped Streampack folder.
  • Check the file name for the transition point time (in seconds).
  • Convert the time to milliseconds (e.g., 2 seconds = 2000ms, 3 seconds = 3000ms).
  • Set the transition point in OBS (typically 2000ms or 3000ms).
  • Apply it as the default or per-scene transition.

Test transitions to ensure smooth scene changes.

Overlay Kit

Build a custom overlay setup by adding assets one by one.

  • In OBS, select your scene and click "+" in the "Sources" panel.
  • Choose "Image" for static .png overlays or "Media Source" for animated .webm assets.
  • Browse to the unzipped Streampack folder and select an asset.
  • Position, resize, and layer the asset over other sources.
  • Repeat for each overlay to complete your setup.

Preview your stream to verify the overlay placement.

Twitch Panels

Customize your Twitch channel with panels using .png images from the Streampack.

  • Log in to Twitch and go to your Creator Dashboard.
  • Navigate to "Channel" under the "Settings" tab.
  • Scroll to the "Edit Panels" section and toggle on "Edit Panels."
  • Click "+" to add a new panel.
  • Select "Image" and upload a .png file from the unzipped Streampack folder.
  • Add a title, description, and optional link for the panel.
  • Repeat for each panel image and save changes.

Ensure images meet Twitch’s size guidelines (typically 320px wide).
